Chill the Glass
Begin by chilling a coupe or cocktail glass. You can do this by filling it with ice water and letting it sit while you prepare the cocktail.

Combine Ingredients
In a mixing glass filled with ice, add 2 oz of Don Julio 1942 Tequila, 1 oz of Cardamaro, and 2 dashes of Seville Orange Bitters.

Stir
Stir the mixture gently for about 20-30 seconds until well chilled and diluted.

Strain
Empty the ice water from the chilled glass and strain the cocktail mixture into the glass using a fine mesh strainer.

Garnish
Express the oils from the orange peel over the drink, then drop it into the cocktail as a garnish.
