Base Spirits & Liqueurs

Draft & Garnishes

Tools (not edible)

Method

Base Spirits & Liqueurs

1

Combine spirits

Pour the gin, blended whiskey, aged rum, silver tequila and Aperol into a large pitcher. Use the jigger to measure accurately: 6 oz each spirit and 4 oz Aperol.

2

Gently stir the spirit blend 10–15 seconds to marry flavors without aerating too much.

Modifiers & Mixers

3

Add fresh lemon juice (4 oz) and fresh lime juice (2 oz) to the pitcher.

4

Add simple syrup (6 oz) and bitters (20 dashes Angostura, 10 dashes orange) to balance and season the mix.

5

Stir the spirit-modifier mixture thoroughly for 20–30 seconds until evenly combined and slightly chilled from contact with the pitcher walls or pre-chilled pitcher.

6

Taste and adjust: if the blend is too acidic, add up to 1 oz more simple syrup; if too sweet, add 1/2 oz more lemon juice.

Draft & Garnishes

7

Just before serving, add 24 oz club soda and 64 oz draft beer to the pitcher and stir gently 5–8 turns to combine. Do not over-stir to preserve carbonation.

8

Fill individual serving glasses 3/4 full with ice. Pour the cocktail from the pitcher into glasses, leaving about 1/2 inch headroom for garnish and carbonation.

9

Garnish each glass with an orange wheel and a lemon twist; slap a mint sprig between your palms and add on top for aroma. Use one orange wheel, one lemon twist, and one mint sprig per glass (recipe yields 8 servings).

10

Serve immediately to maintain draft carbonation and fresh aromatics.

Tools & Notes

11

Keep the pitcher and beer chilled before assembly to maximize carbonation retention. If making ahead, mix only the spirit-modifier portion and refrigerate; add beer and soda within 15 minutes of serving.

12

This recipe yields a batch cocktail best for small parties. Adjust spirit ratios proportionally for larger or smaller batches.
