Preheat the Oven

Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).

Prepare the Fruit Filling

In a large bowl, combine the chopped stone fruits, granulated sugar, ground cardamom, lemon juice, and cornstarch. Toss gently to combine and let sit for 10 minutes.

In another bowl, mix together the all-purpose flour, brown sugar, baking powder, and salt. In a separate bowl, whisk together the melted butter and milk. Combine the wet and dry ingredients until just mixed.

Assemble the Cobbler

Spread the fruit mixture evenly in a greased 9x13 inch baking dish. Drop spoonfuls of the topping over the fruit, covering as much as possible.

Bake in the preheated oven for 35-40 minutes, or until the topping is golden brown and the fruit is bubbly.
