Cocktail

Method

Cocktail

  1. 1

    Prepare

Chill a coupe or martini glass by filling it with ice water while you mix the drink. If you prefer the cocktail over ice, choose a rocks glass and add fresh ice later.

  2. 2

    Juice clementine and lime

Roll the clementine on the counter to loosen juices and cut in half. Juice until you have about 0.75 oz (roughly one medium clementine). Cut and juice a small wedge of lime to yield 0.25 oz.

  3. 3

    Combine ingredients

In a cocktail shaker add 6 ice cubes, 2 oz Svedka Strawberry Colada, 2 oz cranberry juice, 0.5 oz triple sec, 0.75 oz fresh clementine juice, 0.25 oz fresh lime juice, and 0.25 oz simple syrup if using.

  4. 4

    Shake

Secure the shaker and shake vigorously for 12–15 seconds until well chilled (shaker becomes frosty).

  5. 5

    Strain

Dump the ice water from the chilled glass. Double-strain the cocktail into the chilled coupe or martini glass (or strain over fresh ice into a rocks glass) to remove small ice shards and any pulp.

Garnish & Serve

  1. 6

Thread 2–3 fresh cranberries on a small pick or place them in the glass, and finish with a clementine wheel or a long twist of clementine peel expressed over the drink to release oils. Optionally rub the peel on the rim before dropping it in.

  2. 7

Serve immediately. Suggest pairing: bright citrus-forward drinks, best enjoyed chilled.
