Method
Cocktail
- 1
Build and shake
Fill a cocktail shaker with the cubed ice. Pour in the coconut rum (1.5 oz), amaretto (0.5 oz), sloe gin (0.75 oz), fresh orange juice (0.5 oz), pineapple juice (3 oz), and fresh lime juice (0.5 oz). If you prefer a sweeter drink, add simple syrup (0.25 oz).
- 2
Shake
Secure the shaker lid and shake vigorously for 10–15 seconds, until the outside of the shaker is well-chilled and slightly frosted. This chills and dilutes the drink to balance flavors.
- 3
Finish & Serve
- 4
Garnish the drink with a pineapple wedge and an orange wheel on the rim, and drop a maraschino cherry into the glass for a bright, tropical presentation.
- 5
Serve immediately with a short straw. Estimated serving: 1 cocktail. Encourage sipping to appreciate the layered fruit and nutty amaretto notes against the coconut rum and sloe gin.
