Preparing the Beef
- 1
Cook the Ground Beef
In a large skillet over medium heat, add the ground beef. Cook until browned, breaking it apart with a spatula, about 6-8 minutes.
- 2
Add Taco Seasoning
Sprinkle the taco seasoning over the cooked ground beef. Stir to combine and add 1/4 cup of water. Let it simmer for 5 minutes until the mixture thickens.
Assembling the Tacos

Prepare Taco Shells
While the beef is cooking, preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Place the corn taco shells on a baking sheet and warm them in the oven for about 5 minutes.
- 4
Fill the Taco Shells
Once the taco shells are warmed, fill each shell with a generous portion of the seasoned ground beef.
- 5
Add Toppings
Top the beef with shredded cheese, pico de gallo, a dollop of sour cream, and a sprinkle of chopped cilantro.
