Kebabs Preparation

1. Prepare the Adana Kebab Mixture

In a bowl, combine ground lamb, onion, garlic, parsley, cumin, paprika, salt, and black pepper. Mix well until all ingredients are thoroughly combined.

2. Shape the Adana Kebabs

Divide the mixture into equal portions and shape each portion around a skewer, forming a long kebab shape. Repeat until all the mixture is used.

3. Prepare the Chicken Shish Kebab Mixture

In a separate bowl, season the chicken breast pieces with olive oil, salt, and black pepper. Mix to coat evenly.

4. Skewer the Chicken

Thread the marinated chicken pieces onto skewers, alternating with pieces of onion if desired.

5. Grill the Kebabs

Preheat the grill to medium-high heat. Grill the Adana and chicken kebabs for about 10-15 minutes, turning occasionally until fully cooked.

Rice Preparation

6. Rinse the Rice

Rinse the basmati rice under cold water until the water runs clear to remove excess starch.

7. Cook the Rice

In a pot, bring 4 cups of water to a boil. Add the rinsed rice and salt. Reduce heat to low, cover, and simmer for 15-20 minutes or until the rice is tender and water is absorbed.

Salad Preparation

8. Prepare the Salad Ingredients

In a large bowl, combine diced tomato, diced cucumber, and shredded lettuce.

9. Dress the Salad

Drizzle olive oil, lemon juice, and season with salt and black pepper. Toss gently to combine.
