Preparing the Croutons

Make the Croutons
Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C). Cut the bread into cubes and place them in a mixing bowl. Drizzle with olive oil, and sprinkle garlic powder and salt over the bread cubes. Toss until evenly coated.

Spread the bread cubes on a baking sheet in a single layer. Bake for 10-15 minutes or until golden brown and crispy, turning halfway through for even cooking. Remove from the oven and let cool.
Making the Dressing

Prepare the Caesar Dressing
In a mixing bowl, combine mayonnaise, grated Parmesan cheese, lemon juice, Worcestershire sauce, minced garlic, and a pinch of salt and pepper. Whisk together until smooth and well combined.
Assembling the Salad

Assemble the Salad
In a large salad bowl, chop the Romaine lettuce into bite-sized pieces. Add the desired amount of Caesar dressing and toss to coat the lettuce evenly.

Add the homemade croutons on top of the salad and toss gently to combine. Serve immediately, garnished with extra Parmesan cheese if desired.
