Method
Preparing the Brisket
Combine Dry Rub
In a small bowl, mix together the smoked paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, brown sugar, salt, and black pepper.
Season the Brisket
Rub the dry mixture all over the brisket, ensuring it is evenly coated. Let it sit for at least 1 hour, or preferably overnight in the fridge for deeper flavor.
Preheat the Smoker
Preheat your smoker to 225°F (107°C).
Smoke the Brisket
Smoke the brisket for about 1.5 hours per pound, or until it reaches an internal temperature of 195°F (90°C).
Baste the Brisket
Every hour, baste the brisket with a mixture of Worcestershire sauce and beef broth to keep it moist.
Rest the Brisket
Once done, remove the brisket from the smoker and let it rest for at least 30 minutes before slicing.
Preparing the Sides
Prepare Coleslaw
In a large bowl, combine shredded cabbage, carrots, and a dressing of your choice. Toss well and refrigerate until ready to serve.

If using canned baked beans, heat them in a saucepan over medium heat until warmed through. Stir occasionally.
Bake Cornbread
Follow the package instructions or your favorite cornbread recipe to bake a loaf of cornbread.
Prepare Pickles
Slice pickles into rounds or spears and serve fresh.
Make Macaroni and Cheese
Cook macaroni according to package instructions, drain, then mix with cheese sauce until well combined.
