    Prepare the squash

    Slice the summer squash into thin rounds and toss with olive oil, salt, and black pepper. Set aside.

    Make the herb labne

    In a bowl, mix the labne with chopped fresh herbs and a pinch of salt. Set aside.

    Cook the squash

    Heat a skillet over medium heat. Add the seasoned summer squash and cook for about 5-7 minutes, or until tender and lightly browned.

    Prepare the breadcrumbs

    In a separate pan, toast the breadcrumbs in a little olive oil until golden brown and crispy.

    Assemble the dish

    On a serving plate, spread the herb labne as a base, layer the sautéed summer squash on top, drizzle with Calabrian chili paste, and finish with the toasted breadcrumbs.
