Method

Seafood Preparation

  1. 1

    Prepare King Crab Legs

Fill a large pot with salted water and bring it to a boil. Add the king crab legs and cook for 5-7 minutes until heated through. Remove from pot and let cool slightly before cracking open the shells.

  2. 2

    Prepare Lobster Tails

Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Cut the lobster tails lengthwise and place them on a baking sheet. Brush with melted butter and season with salt. Bake for 15-20 minutes until the meat is opaque and cooked through.

  3. 3

    Cook Shrimp

Bring a pot of salted water to a boil. Add the shrimp and cook for 2-3 minutes until they turn pink and opaque. Drain and place the shrimp in an ice bath to stop the cooking process.

  4. 4

    Prepare Oysters and Clams

Arrange the shucked oysters and clams on a serving platter. If desired, chill in the refrigerator until ready to serve.

Sauce Preparation

  1. 5

    Prepare Cocktail Sauce

In a bowl, mix together ketchup, horseradish, lemon juice, and Worcestershire sauce. Adjust seasonings to taste and set aside.

  2. 6

    Make Garlic Butter

Melt butter in a small saucepan over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sauté until fragrant, about 1-2 minutes. Remove from heat and set aside.

  3. 7

    Prepare Mignonette Sauce

In a small bowl, combine finely chopped shallots, red wine vinegar, and cracked black pepper. Mix well and let sit for at least 30 minutes to allow the flavors to meld.

Assembly

  1. 8

    Assemble the Seafood Tower

On a large platter or tiered stand, arrange the cooked king crab legs, lobster tails, shrimp, oysters, and clams aesthetically. Add lemon wedges and sprinkle with chopped parsley for garnish.

  2. 9

    Serve with Dipping Sauces

Place the cocktail sauce, garlic butter, and mignonette sauce in small bowls around the seafood tower for dipping. Enjoy!
