Method

Cooking the Pasta

1

Boil the Spaghettini

In a large pot of salted boiling water, cook the spaghettini according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.

Making the Sauce

2

Prepare the Puttenesca Sauce

In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add minced garlic and chili flakes, and sauté until fragrant, about 1 minute.

3

Add Marinara and Other Ingredients

Stir in marinara sauce, capers, and sliced Luccino olives. Let it simmer for 5-7 minutes, allowing the flavors to meld.

Combining and Serving

4

Combine Pasta and Sauce

Add the drained spaghettini to the skillet, tossing to coat the pasta evenly with the sauce. Cook for an additional 2 minutes.

5

Serve

Plate the spaghettini puttenesca, sprinkle with grated Grana Padano, and serve with fresh garlic sourdough bread on the side.
