Method

Cocktail

1

Build and shake

Add 2 oz Bombay Dry gin, 0.5 oz Canton Ginger liqueur, and 0.5 oz fresh lemon juice into a cocktail shaker. Fill the shaker with ice (enough to nearly full). Secure the lid and shake vigorously for 10–12 seconds until the shaker is well chilled and slightly frosted.

2

Prepare glass

Fill a highball glass (or Collins glass) with fresh ice to the top.

Top / Finish

3

Strain the shaken mixture over the ice in the prepared glass using a fine or Hawthorne strainer.

4

Top with approximately 3 oz chilled soda water. Gently stir once or twice with a bar spoon to integrate—avoid vigorous stirring to preserve carbonation.

5

Garnish with a lemon wheel or wedge on the rim. Serve immediately with a straw if desired.
