Buffalo Cauliflower Directions
- 1
Prepare the Cauliflower
Cut the cauliflower into bite-sized florets and set aside.
- 2
Make the Batter
In a large bowl, mix together the flour, cornstarch, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper. Gradually whisk in the water until you have a smooth batter.
- 3
Heat the Oil
In a large frying pan or pot, heat the vegetable oil over medium-high heat until it reaches 350°F (175°C).
- 4
Batter the Cauliflower
Dip each cauliflower floret into the batter, ensuring it is fully coated.
- 5
Fry the Cauliflower
Carefully place the battered cauliflower florets into the hot oil, frying in batches if necessary. Fry for 4-5 minutes or until golden brown and crispy.
- 6
Drain and Toss
Remove the fried cauliflower from the oil and drain on paper towels. In a large bowl, toss the hot cauliflower with the buffalo sauce until well coated.
- 7
Serve
Serve immediately as an appetizer or snack, with extra buffalo sauce on the side if desired.
