Juicing

    Juice the Limes

    Cut the fresh limes in half and use a juicer to extract the juice until you have 1 cup of lime juice. Strain the juice to remove any seeds or pulp if desired.

    Juice the Lemons

    Cut the fresh lemons in half and juice them until you have 1 cup of lemon juice. Strain the juice to remove seeds and pulp as needed.

Mixing the Ingredients

    Combine the Juices

    In a large mixing bowl or pitcher, combine the freshly squeezed lime juice and lemon juice.

    Add Sweeteners

    Add 1 cup of agave syrup and 1 cup of simple syrup to the mixture. Stir well to combine all ingredients thoroughly.

    Add Water

    Gradually mix in 2 cups of water to the juice and sweetener mixture. Stir until well blended.

Storing

    Store the Mix

    Pour the margarita sour mix into a clean glass container or jars. Seal tightly and refrigerate until ready to use. It can be stored for up to 1 week.
