Preparing the Batter

Mix Dry Ingredients
In a large bowl, whisk together the all-purpose flour, baking powder, sugar, and salt until well combined.

Combine Mixtures
Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and stir gently until just combined. Be careful not to overmix; a few lumps are fine.
Cooking the Pancakes

Preheat the Pan
Heat a non-stick skillet or griddle over medium heat. You can lightly grease it with butter or oil if desired.

Using a ladle or measuring cup, pour about 1/4 cup of batter onto the skillet for each pancake.

Cook the pancakes for about 2-3 minutes, or until bubbles start to form on the surface and the edges look set.

Flip the pancakes and cook for an additional 1-2 minutes, or until golden brown and cooked through.
