Final Assembly

Method

Pear Puree

  1. 1

    Prepare the Pears

Peel, core, and chop the pears into small pieces.

  2. 2

    Cook the Pears

In a medium saucepan, add the chopped pears and lemon juice. Cook over medium heat for about 10-15 minutes, stirring occasionally until the pears are soft.

  3. 3

    Puree the Pears

Transfer the cooked pears to a blender and puree until smooth. Set aside to cool.

Cinnamon Simple Syrup

  1. 4

    Combine Ingredients

In a small saucepan, combine the granulated sugar, water, and cinnamon sticks.

  2. 5

    Simmer the Syrup

Heat the mixture over medium heat, stirring until the sugar is dissolved. Bring to a gentle simmer for about 5-7 minutes, allowing the flavors to meld.

  3. 6

    Cool the Syrup

Remove from heat and let the syrup cool. Strain out the cinnamon sticks and set aside.

Final Assembly

  1. 7

    Mix Ingredients

In a large pitcher, combine the pear puree, cinnamon simple syrup, and fresh lime juice. Stir well to combine.

  2. 8

    Serve

Fill glasses with ice, pour the pear mixture over the ice, and top with ginger beer. Stir gently and garnish with a lime wedge if desired.
