Combine Ingredients
In a mixing bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, vanilla extract, ground cinnamon, and a pinch of salt until well combined.
Cooking French Toast

Heat the Griddle
Preheat a griddle or a non-stick skillet over medium heat. You can add a small amount of butter or oil to prevent sticking if desired.

Dip the Bread
Take one slice of thick bread and dip it into the egg batter, making sure to coat both sides well. Allow any excess batter to drip off.
