Main Ingredients

Method

Preparation

  1. 1

    Juicing the Pear

Start by juicing a fresh pear to obtain about 1 oz of juice. Strain it if necessary to remove any pulp.

  2. 2

    Juicing the Lemon

Squeeze half a lemon to extract 0.5 oz of fresh lemon juice. Remove any seeds.

Mixing the Drink

  1. 3

    Combine Ingredients

In a cocktail shaker, combine 2 oz of Calvados, 1 oz of elderflower liqueur, 1 oz of fresh pear juice, and 0.5 oz of fresh lemon juice.

  2. 4

    Shake

Add ice to the shaker and shake vigorously for about 15 seconds until well chilled.

  3. 5

    Strain and Serve

Strain the mixture into a champagne flute or coupe glass.

Finishing Touch

  1. 6

    Add Sparkling Wine

Top the drink with 3 oz of sparkling wine, pouring gently to maintain the bubbles.

  2. 7

    Garnish

Garnish with 2 slices of fresh pear and, if desired, add 2 edible flowers for a decorative touch.
