Juicing the Pear
Start by juicing a fresh pear to obtain about 1 oz of juice. Strain it if necessary to remove any pulp.

Juicing the Lemon
Squeeze half a lemon to extract 0.5 oz of fresh lemon juice. Remove any seeds.
Mixing the Drink

Combine Ingredients
In a cocktail shaker, combine 2 oz of Calvados, 1 oz of elderflower liqueur, 1 oz of fresh pear juice, and 0.5 oz of fresh lemon juice.

Shake
Add ice to the shaker and shake vigorously for about 15 seconds until well chilled.

Strain and Serve
Strain the mixture into a champagne flute or coupe glass.
Finishing Touch

Add Sparkling Wine
Top the drink with 3 oz of sparkling wine, pouring gently to maintain the bubbles.

Garnish with 2 slices of fresh pear and, if desired, add 2 edible flowers for a decorative touch.
