Main Ingredients

Cocktail Sauce

Method

Preparing the Shrimp

  1. 1

    Cleaning the Shrimp

Start by rinsing the U-10 shrimp under cold water to remove any debris. Remove the shells and tails if not already done.

  2. 2

    Cooking the Shrimp

Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Once boiling, add the cleaned shrimp and cook for about 2-3 minutes until they turn pink and opaque. Do not overcook.

  3. 3

    Chilling the Shrimp

Immediately transfer the cooked shrimp to an ice bath (a bowl of ice and cold water) to stop the cooking process. Let them chill for about 5 minutes, then drain and set aside.

Making the Cocktail Sauce

  1. 4

    Mixing Ingredients

In a medium bowl, combine the ketchup, horseradish, lemon juice, Worcestershire sauce, and hot sauce. Stir well until all ingredients are fully incorporated.

  2. 5

    Seasoning

Taste the cocktail sauce and add salt to your preference. Adjust the horseradish or hot sauce for more heat if desired.

Serving

  1. 6

    Plating

Arrange the chilled shrimp on a platter and serve with the cocktail sauce in a small bowl on the side for dipping.

  2. 7

    Garnishing (Optional)

You can garnish the platter with lemon wedges and fresh parsley for added color and flavor.
