Method

Biscuit Directions

  1. 1

    Preheat the Oven

Preheat your oven to 450°F (230°C) to prepare for baking the biscuits.

  2. 2

    Mix Dry Ingredients

In a large mixing bowl, combine the all-purpose flour, baking powder, and salt. Whisk together until well blended.

  3. 3

    Cut in Butter

Add the unsalted butter to the dry mixture. Using a pastry cutter or your fingers, mix until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs.

  4. 4

    Add Wet Ingredients

Stir in the milk and honey until the dough comes together. Do not overmix; it should be slightly sticky.

  5. 5

    Shape the Biscuits

Turn the dough onto a floured surface and gently knead it 2-3 times. Pat it into a thickness of about 1 inch and cut out biscuits using a round cutter.

  6. 6

    Bake the Biscuits

Place the biscuits on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes or until golden brown.

Dubouche VSOP Directions

  1. 7

    Prepare the Cocktail

In a mixing glass, add the Dubouche VSOP, orange bitters, and simple syrup.

  2. 8

    Add Ice

Fill the mixing glass with ice cubes and stir well for about 30 seconds to chill the mixture.

  3. 9

    Strain and Serve

Strain the mixture into a chilled glass. Optionally, you can serve it on the rocks with a fresh piece of ice.

  4. 10

    Garnish

Finish by garnishing with an orange twist. Enjoy your Dubouche VSOP alongside the freshly baked biscuits!
