Stuffed Mushrooms Ingredients

Method

Stuffed Mushrooms Directions

  1. 1

    Preheat the Oven

Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).

  2. 2

    Prepare the Mushrooms

Clean the Portobello mushrooms with a damp cloth and remove the stems. Use a small spoon to scrape out the gills gently to create space for the stuffing.

  3. 3

    Make the Filling

In a mixing bowl, combine the cream cheese, minced garlic, grated Parmesan cheese, breadcrumbs, chopped parsley, olive oil, salt, black pepper, dried oregano, and dried thyme. Mix until all ingredients are well combined and a thick filling forms.

  4. 4

    Stuff the Mushrooms

Take a spoonful of the filling and generously stuff each mushroom cap with the mixture, pressing it down slightly to ensure it is packed in.

  5. 5

    Arrange and Bake

Place the stuffed mushrooms on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Drizzle a little olive oil over the tops of the stuffed mushrooms to help with browning. Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes or until the mushrooms are tender and the filling is golden brown.

  6. 6

    Serve

Remove from the oven and let them cool slightly before serving. Enjoy your stuffed mushrooms warm as an appetizer or snack!
