Cooking the Pasta

Boil the Pasta
In a large pot, bring 4 quarts of water to a rolling boil. Add a pinch of salt.

Cook the Pasta
Add the pasta to the boiling water. Cook according to package instructions until al dente, usually about 8-10 minutes. Drain and set aside.
Preparing the Shrimp and Vegetables

Sauté the Garlic
In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant.

Cook the Shrimp
Add the jumbo shrimp to the skillet. Season with salt, black pepper, and red pepper flakes. Cook for about 2-3 minutes until the shrimp turn pink and opaque.

Add Grape Tomatoes
Stir in the halved grape tomatoes and cook for an additional 2-3 minutes until the tomatoes soften.

Combine with Pasta
Add the cooked pasta to the skillet and toss everything together gently until well combined. Add the chopped fresh basil and mix again.
Serving

Plate and Garnish
