Chill Your Glass
Begin by chilling your whiskey glass. You can do this by placing it in the freezer for a few minutes or filling it with ice water while you prepare the drink.

Mix the Ingredients
In a mixing glass, combine 2 oz of Jack Daniel's Single Barrel Whiskey, 2 dashes of Angostura Bitters, and 1 tsp of simple syrup.

Add Ice and Stir
Fill the mixing glass with ice cubes (approximately 1 cup) and stir the mixture gently for about 30 seconds until well chilled.

Remove the ice water from your chilled glass (if you used it) and strain the mixture into the glass.
