Salmon Fillet

Method

Preparing the Salmon

  1. 1

    Marinate the Salmon

In a bowl, combine the olive oil, salt, and black pepper. Add the salmon fillets and coat them in the marinade. Let them marinate for at least 15 minutes.

  2. 2

    Preheat the Grill

While the salmon is marinating, preheat your grill to medium-high heat (about 375°F or 190°C).

Cooking the Salmon

  1. 3

    Grill the Salmon

Place the marinated salmon fillets on the grill. Cook for about 4-5 minutes on each side, or until the fish flakes easily with a fork and has nice grill marks.

Making the Lemon Butter Sauce

  1. 4

    Prepare the Sauce

In a saucepan over medium heat, melt the unsalted butter. Add the minced garlic and sauté for about 1-2 minutes until fragrant. Stir in the lemon juice, salt, black pepper, and chopped parsley. Cook for an additional 2 minutes, stirring frequently.

Serving the Dish

  1. 5

    Plate the Salmon

Once the salmon is cooked, remove it from the grill and place it on a serving plate. Drizzle the lemon butter sauce over the top.

  2. 6

    Garnish and Serve

Garnish with additional parsley if desired and serve immediately with your choice of side dishes.
