Mix the Cheese
In a mixing bowl, combine the ricotta cheese, grated Parmesan cheese, eggs, salt, black pepper, and chopped parsley. Mix until well combined and set aside.
Prepare the Meat Sauce
- 2
Cook the Meat
In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the chopped onion and minced garlic, sautéing until the onion is translucent. Add the ground beef and pork, cooking until browned. Drain excess fat if necessary.

Stir in the marinara sauce and Italian seasoning. Let simmer for about 10 minutes to combine flavors.

Layer the Ingredients
Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Spread a thin layer of the meat sauce on the bottom of a 9x13-inch baking dish. Layer 3 sheets of lasagna noodles over the sauce. Spread 1/3 of the cheese mixture over the noodles, followed by 1/3 of the meat sauce. Repeat this layering process two more times, finishing with meat sauce on top.

Add Mozzarella
Sprinkle the shredded mozzarella cheese evenly over the top layer of meat sauce.
Bake and Serve
- 6
Bake the Lasagna
Cover the baking dish with aluminum foil and bake in the preheated oven for 25 minutes. Remove the foil and bake for an additional 15-20 minutes, or until the cheese is bubbly and golden.
- 7
Let it Rest
Remove from the oven and let it rest for 10-15 minutes before slicing and serving. Enjoy your Augustino's Lasagna!
