Dough Preparation

In a small bowl, combine warm water, sugar, and yeast. Let it sit for about 5-10 minutes until foamy.

Mix Dry Ingredients
In a large mixing bowl, combine gluten-free flour, xanthan gum, and salt.

Combine Ingredients
Add the yeast mixture and olive oil to the dry ingredients. Mix until a dough forms.

Knead and Rise
Knead the dough for 3-5 minutes until smooth. Form it into a ball and let it rise in a warm place for about 30 minutes.

Combine Sauce Ingredients
In a saucepan, combine canned crushed tomatoes, minced garlic, dried oregano, salt, and black pepper.

Cook Sauce
Simmer the sauce over low heat for about 15 minutes, stirring occasionally.
Assembling the Pizza

Preheat Oven
Preheat your oven to 475°F (245°C).

Shape Dough
Roll out the dough on a floured surface into a 12-inch round.

Prepare for Baking
Transfer the rolled-out dough onto a pizza stone or baking sheet.

Add Sauce
Spread the sauce evenly over the dough, leaving a small border around the edges.

Add Toppings
Top with shredded mozzarella cheese and your chosen first two toppings.

Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes until the crust is golden and cheese is bubbly.
