Chicken Wings and Sauce
Method
Cooking Instructions
- 1
Prepare the Chicken Wings
Rinse the chicken wings under cold water and pat them dry with paper towels. Place them in a large bowl and season with salt, black pepper, and garlic powder. Toss to coat evenly.
- 2
Heat Oil
In a deep fryer or large pot, heat vegetable oil to 375°F (190°C).
- 3
Fry the Wings
Carefully add the chicken wings to the hot oil in batches, making sure not to overcrowd the pot. Fry for about 8-10 minutes or until golden brown and crispy. Use a slotted spoon to remove the wings and drain them on paper towels.
- 4
Make the Buffalo Sauce
In a saucepan over medium heat, melt the unsalted butter. Once melted, add the hot sauce and stir until well combined. Remove from heat.
- 5
Toss the Wings
In a large bowl, combine the fried chicken wings with the buffalo sauce. Toss until the wings are thoroughly coated.
- 6
Serve
Serve the buffalo chicken wings hot with your favorite dipping sauce and celery sticks.
