Method

Preparing the Eggs

  1. 1

    Cook the Eggs

In a non-stick skillet over medium heat, crack the 2 eggs. Cook them to your desired doneness (sunny side up, scrambled, or over easy), about 3-5 minutes.

Cooking the Meat

  1. 2

    Cook the Meat

In a separate skillet, cook your choice of meat. For bacon, cook over medium heat until crispy, about 5-7 minutes. For sausage links, cook for about 10-12 minutes, turning occasionally. For ham, simply heat in the skillet for about 3-4 minutes until warm.

Preparing the Potatoes

  1. 3

    Cook the Potatoes

Peel and dice the potatoes into small cubes. In a skillet, heat 1 tablespoon of olive oil over medium heat. Add the diced potatoes, season with salt and pepper, and cook for 10-15 minutes, stirring occasionally, until golden brown and tender.

Making the Toast

  1. 4

    Toast the Bread

While the eggs and potatoes are cooking, toast the 2 slices of bread in a toaster or on a skillet until golden brown. Spread 1 tablespoon of butter on the hot toast.

Serving

  1. 5

    Plate the Dish

On a plate, arrange the cooked eggs, your choice of meat, golden brown potatoes, and buttered toast. Serve immediately.
