Method

Preparing the Potatoes

  1. 1

    Wash and Cut Potatoes

Wash the potatoes thoroughly under cold water. Cut each potato into small cubes.

  2. 2

    Cook Potatoes

In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add the cubed potatoes, salt, and black pepper. Cook for about 15-20 minutes, stirring occasionally, until golden brown and tender.

Cooking the Meat

  1. 3

    Cook Bacon

In a separate skillet, cook the bacon over medium heat until crispy. Remove and place on paper towels to drain.

  2. 4

    Cook Sausage

In the same skillet, add the sausage links and cook until browned and cooked through, about 8-10 minutes. Slice and set aside.

  3. 5

    Cook Ham

If using ham, heat the slices in the skillet for about 2-3 minutes on each side until warmed through.

Cooking the Eggs

  1. 6

    Prepare Eggs

Crack the eggs into a bowl and whisk lightly with a pinch of salt and pepper.

  2. 7

    Cook Eggs

In a non-stick skillet, heat a little butter over medium-low heat. Pour the eggs into the skillet and let them cook undisturbed for a minute, then gently stir with a spatula until cooked to your desired doneness.

Preparing the Toast

  1. 8

    Toast the Bread

While the eggs are cooking, toast the bread slices in a toaster until golden brown.

  2. 9

    Butter the Toast

Spread butter on the hot toast just before serving.

Serving

  1. 10

    Plate the Dish

On a plate, serve the cooked potatoes, the choice of meat (bacon, sausage, ham), and the eggs alongside the buttered toast.
