Method

Pancakes

  1. 1

    Mix Dry Ingredients

In a medium bowl, whisk together the all-purpose flour, baking powder, salt, and sugar until well combined.

  2. 2

    Combine Wet Ingredients

In another bowl, whisk together the milk, egg, melted butter, and vanilla extract until smooth.

  3. 3

    Combine Mixtures

Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and stir gently until just combined. Do not overmix; a few lumps are okay.

  4. 4

    Cook Pancakes

Heat a non-stick skillet or griddle over medium heat. Lightly grease with butter or oil. Pour 1/4 cup of batter for each pancake onto the skillet. Cook until bubbles form on the surface, about 2-3 minutes. Flip and cook for another 1-2 minutes until golden brown. Repeat with remaining batter.

Eggs

  1. 5

    Cook Eggs

In a small non-stick skillet, heat a little oil or butter over medium heat. Crack the eggs into the skillet and cook to your desired doneness (sunny-side up, scrambled, or over easy). Season with salt and pepper to taste.

Meat

  1. 6

    Cook Meat

In a separate skillet, cook the bacon or sausage over medium heat until crispy and cooked through, about 5-7 minutes for bacon or 4-6 minutes for sausage. Drain excess grease on paper towels.
