Corned Beef Hash

Bacon and Sausage

Cheddar Topping

Method

Corned Beef Hash Preparation

  1. 1

    Prepare the Corned Beef

Slow-roast the corned beef at 150°C (300°F) for about 3 hours, until tender. Shred the beef with a fork once cooked.

  2. 2

    Cook the Potatoes

Peel and dice the potatoes into small cubes. Boil them in salted water for about 10-15 minutes until just tender. Drain and set aside.

  3. 3

    Sauté the Vegetables

In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add chopped onion and minced garlic, sauté until translucent, about 5 minutes.

  4. 4

    Combine Ingredients

Add the shredded corned beef and boiled potatoes into the skillet. Season with salt and black pepper. Stir well and cook for an additional 10-15 minutes, until everything is heated through and slightly crispy.

Cooking Bacon and Sausage

  1. 5

    Cook the Bacon

In a separate skillet, cook the bacon over medium heat until crispy. Remove and drain on paper towels.

  2. 6

    Cook the Sausage

In the same skillet, add the breakfast sausage and cook until browned and thoroughly cooked, about 7-10 minutes. Drain excess fat.

Assembly and Serving

  1. 7

    Combine Everything

In a large serving dish, layer the corned beef hash, followed by the cooked bacon and sausage.

  2. 8

    Add Cheddar

Top with shredded cheddar cheese and place under the broiler for 2-3 minutes until the cheese is melted and bubbly.

  3. 9

    Serve

Serve hot and enjoy your Dublin GFO!
