Method

Corned Beef Hash Preparation

  1. 1

    Prepare the Corned Beef

If using slow-roasted corned beef, shred it into bite-sized pieces. If using pre-packaged corned beef, ensure it is cut into small, manageable chunks.

  2. 2

    Cook the Potatoes

Peel and dice the red skin potatoes into small cubes. Boil them in salted water for about 8-10 minutes until they are fork-tender. Drain and set aside.

  3. 3

    Sauté the Vegetables

In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the diced onion and minced garlic, and sauté until the onion is translucent, about 3-4 minutes.

  4. 4

    Combine Ingredients

Add the cooked potatoes and shredded corned beef to the skillet. Season with salt, black pepper, and paprika. Stir to combine, and allow to cook on medium-high heat for about 5-7 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the mixture is crispy and browned.

Eggs Preparation

  1. 5

    Cook the Eggs

In a small non-stick skillet, melt the butter over medium heat. Crack the eggs into the skillet and cook to your desired doneness (sunny-side up, over-easy, or scrambled) for about 3-5 minutes.

Toast Preparation

  1. 6

    Toast the Bread

While the eggs are cooking, toast the slices of bread to your preference. This can be done in a toaster or on a skillet.
