Method
Preparing Monkey Bread Dough

In a small bowl, combine warm milk (about 110°F) and sugar. Sprinkle yeast on top and let sit for about 5-10 minutes until foamy.

In a large mixing bowl, whisk together flour and salt.

Pour the wet mixture into the dry ingredients and stir until a dough forms. Knead for about 5-7 minutes until smooth.

Place the dough in a greased bowl, cover with a damp cloth, and let it rise in a warm place for about 1 hour or until doubled in size.
Shaping and Coating

Prepare Cinnamon Sugar
In a bowl, mix together sugar and ground cinnamon.

After the dough has risen, punch it down and tear off small pieces to roll into balls (about 1 inch in diameter).
