Brioche Bun

Candied Bacon

Method

Beef Patties

  1. 1

    Prepare the Patties

In a mixing bowl, combine the ground beef, salt, and black pepper. Form the mixture into two equal-sized patties.

  2. 2

    Cook the Patties

Heat a skillet or grill over medium-high heat. Cook the beef patties for about 4-5 minutes on each side or until they reach the desired doneness.

Toppings

  1. 3

    Sauté the Onions

Slice the onion into thin rings. In a skillet, add a bit of oil and sauté the onions over medium heat until they are caramelized, about 10 minutes.

  2. 4

    Cook the Bacon

In a separate skillet, cook the bacon slices until crispy. Remove and drain on paper towels.

  3. 5

    Prepare Hashbrowns

In the same skillet used for the bacon, add the hashbrowns and cook according to package instructions until crispy.

  4. 6

    Fry the Eggs

In a non-stick skillet, crack the eggs and cook them over-medium, about 3-4 minutes until the whites are set but the yolks are still runny.

  5. 7

    Assemble the Burger

Place a beef patty on the bottom half of the brioche bun. Top with sautéed onions, a slice of American cheese, crispy bacon, hashbrowns, and the fried egg. Drizzle with burger sauce.

Candied Bacon

  1. 8

    Prepare Candied Bacon

In a bowl, mix brown sugar and maple syrup. Coat the bacon slices with the mixture and bake in a preheated oven at 375°F (190°C) for about 15-20 minutes until caramelized.

Brioche Bun

  1. 9

    Toast the Buns

Lightly toast the brioche buns on a skillet or grill for 1-2 minutes until golden brown.
