Method

Beef Patties

  1. 1

    Prepare the Beef Patties

In a mixing bowl, combine the ground beef with salt and black pepper. Divide the mixture into two equal parts and shape them into patties.

  2. 2

    Cook the Beef Patties

Heat a grill or skillet over medium-high heat. Cook the patties for about 4-5 minutes on each side, or until they reach your desired doneness. Place a slice of American cheese on each patty during the last minute of cooking to melt.

Sautéed Onions

  1. 3

    Sauté the Onions

Slice the onion into thin rings. In a pan, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the onions and sauté for about 5-7 minutes until they are soft and caramelized.

Bacon Cheddar Hashbrowns

  1. 4

    Prepare the Hashbrowns

In a large bowl, mix the frozen hashbrowns with shredded cheddar cheese, crumbled bacon, salt, and black pepper.

  2. 5

    Cook the Hashbrowns

In a skillet over medium heat, add the hashbrown mixture and cook for about 10-12 minutes, stirring occasionally, until golden brown and crispy.

Candied Bacon

  1. 6

    Prepare the Candied Bacon

Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Place the bacon strips on the baking sheet and sprinkle brown sugar over each strip. Bake for 15-20 minutes or until crispy and caramelized.

Eggs

  1. 7

    Cook the Eggs

In a non-stick skillet, crack the eggs and cook them to an over-medium doneness. This will take about 3-4 minutes.

House-Made Burger Sauce

  1. 8

    Mix the Sauce

In a bowl, combine mayonnaise, ketchup, Dijon mustard, and chopped pickles. Mix well until smooth and set aside.

Assemble the Burger

  1. 9

    Build the Burger

On the bottom half of each brioche bun, spread a generous amount of the house-made burger sauce. Layer on the beef patty with melted cheese, sautéed onions, bacon cheddar hashbrowns, candied bacon, and the cooked egg. Top with the other half of the brioche bun.

  2. 10

    Serve

Serve the Bistro Breakfast Burger immediately with your favorite side.
