Method

Preparation

  1. 1

In a medium saucepan, bring the water to a boil over medium-high heat.

  2. 2

Once boiling, add the dried lavender buds to the saucepan. Reduce the heat to low and let it simmer for 10 minutes, allowing the flavors to infuse.

  3. 3

After 10 minutes, strain the lavender water through a fine mesh sieve into a bowl or another saucepan to remove the lavender buds.

  4. 4

Add the maple syrup, granulated sugar, and lemon juice to the lavender-infused water. Stir well to combine.

Final Touch

  1. 5

Heat the mixture over low heat, stirring occasionally, until the sugar is fully dissolved and the mixture is warmed through, about 5 minutes.

  2. 6

Once warmed, remove from heat and let it cool slightly. If desired, you can serve it warm or chill it in the refrigerator.

  3. 7

Serve the Lavender Maple in a small jar or bottle. Optionally, garnish with fresh lavender sprigs and lemon slices for an elegant presentation.
