Latte Preparation

  1. 1

    Brew the Espresso

Brew 2 shots of local espresso using your espresso machine. Set aside once brewed.

  2. 2

Prepare the Brown Butter Toffee Sauce

In a small saucepan over low heat, melt butter until it turns golden brown and develops a nutty aroma. Stir in brown sugar and cook, stirring frequently, until it forms a thick toffee-like consistency. Remove from heat and let cool slightly.

  3. 3

    Combine Ingredients

In a mixing glass, combine the brewed espresso, brown butter toffee sauce, maple syrup, and ground cinnamon. Stir until well mixed.

  4. 4

    Heat the Milk

In a small saucepan, heat the milk of your choice over medium heat until warm but not boiling. If you prefer an iced latte, skip this step.

  5. 5

    Froth the Milk

Froth the warm milk using a milk frother or whisk until it reaches a creamy consistency.

  6. 6

    Combine Espresso and Milk

Pour the espresso mixture into a large mug or glass. Slowly add the frothed milk, stirring gently to combine.

Topping and Serving

  1. 7

    Add Toppings

Top the latte with a generous dollop of whipped cream and sprinkle a dash of ground cinnamon on top.

  2. 8

    Serve

Serve your French Toast Latte hot or iced, based on your preference. Enjoy!
