Method

Eggs

  1. 1

    Cook the Eggs

In a non-stick skillet, heat 1 tablespoon of butter or oil over medium heat. Crack the eggs into the skillet, being careful not to break the yolks. Season with salt and black pepper.

  2. 2

    Cook to Desired Doneness

Cook the eggs for about 3-4 minutes for sunny-side up, or flip them for over-easy or over-hard, cooking for an additional 1-2 minutes. Remove from heat and set aside.

Meat

  1. 3

    Cook the Bacon or Sausage

In a separate skillet, cook the bacon or sausage over medium heat until crispy (for bacon) or cooked through (for sausage), about 5-7 minutes. Remove and place on a paper towel to drain excess grease.

Toast

  1. 4

    Toast the Bread

While the meat is cooking, toast the slices of bread in a toaster or on a griddle until golden brown. Spread 1 tablespoon of butter on each slice while they are still warm.

Hash Browns

  1. 5

    Cook the Hash Browns

In the same skillet used for the bacon or sausage, add 2 tablespoons of oil over medium-high heat. Add the chopped onion and sauté until translucent, about 2-3 minutes.

  2. 6

    Add the Hash Browns

Add the frozen hash browns to the skillet, pressing them down with a spatula. Season with salt and black pepper. Cook for about 5-7 minutes until they are golden brown and crispy, then flip and cook for another 5-7 minutes.
