Candied Pecans

Prepare the Candied Pecans
In a skillet over medium heat, melt the butter. Add the pecans, brown sugar, and a pinch of salt. Stir continuously for about 5 minutes until the pecans are coated and caramelized. Remove from heat and let cool.
Banana Rum Caramel Sauce

Make the Caramel Sauce
In a saucepan over medium heat, combine brown sugar, heavy cream, and butter. Stir until the mixture comes to a simmer. Allow to cook for 3-5 minutes until thickened. Remove from heat and stir in banana liqueur and rum.
French Toast Preparation

Prepare the Egg Mixture
In a mixing bowl, whisk together eggs, milk, vanilla extract, and ground cinnamon until well combined.

Dip each slice of ciabatta bread into the egg mixture, ensuring both sides are coated. Let excess drip off.
