Method

Burger Preparation

  1. 1

    Make the Patties

In a mixing bowl, combine the ground beef, salt, and black pepper. Form into two equal-sized patties.

  2. 2

    Cook the Patties

Preheat a grill or skillet over medium-high heat. Cook the patties for about 4-5 minutes per side, or until they reach your desired doneness.

Topping Preparation

  1. 3

    Sauté Onions

Slice the medium onion thinly. In a pan over medium heat, add a little oil and sauté the onions until they are caramelized, about 10-15 minutes.

  2. 4

    Cook Bacon

In the same pan or another skillet, cook the bacon until crispy. Drain on paper towels.

  3. 5

    Prepare Hashbrowns

In a separate skillet, cook the frozen hashbrowns according to the package instructions. Stir in cheddar cheese until melted and combined.

  4. 6

    Cook Eggs

In a small skillet, cook the eggs over-medium until the whites are set but yolks are still runny, about 3-4 minutes.

Assembly

  1. 7

    Assemble the Burger

On the bottom half of the brioche bun, place one beef patty. Top with a slice of American cheese, sautéed onions, a generous scoop of bacon cheddar hashbrowns, two slices of candied bacon, and the over-medium egg. Drizzle with house-made burger sauce and finish with the top half of the brioche bun.
