Burger Preparation
- 1
Prepare the Patties
In a large bowl, combine the ground beef, salt, and black pepper. Mix gently until just combined, then divide the mixture into two equal portions and shape them into patties.
- 2
Cook the Patties
Preheat a grill or skillet over medium-high heat. Cook the patties for about 4-5 minutes on one side, then flip them. Place a slice of American cheese on one patty and a slice of Swiss cheese on the other patty. Cook for an additional 4-5 minutes until the cheese has melted and the patties are cooked to your desired doneness.
Sauce Preparation
- 3
Make the Burger Sauce
In a bowl, mix together the mayonnaise, ketchup, yellow mustard, finely chopped pickles, garlic powder, and onion powder until well combined. Set aside.
Assembling the Burger
- 4
Prepare the Toppings
Wash and dry the lettuce leaves. Slice the tomato and onion into rings.
- 5
Assemble the Burger
On the bottom half of each brioche bun, spread a generous amount of the burger sauce. Place a cheese-topped patty on each bun, followed by the lettuce, tomato slices, onion rings, and pickle slices. Top with the other half of the brioche bun.
