Tiramisu Directions
- 1
Prepare the Coffee Mixture
Brew the espresso coffee and let it cool. If using, add coffee liqueur to the cooled espresso.
- 2
Make the Mascarpone Cream
In a large bowl, mix the mascarpone cheese, heavy cream, granulated sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth and creamy.
- 3
Soak the Ladyfingers
Dip each ladyfinger quickly into the espresso mixture, ensuring they are soaked but not soggy.
- 4
Layer the Tiramisu
In a serving dish, create layers starting with a layer of soaked ladyfingers, followed by a layer of mascarpone cream. Repeat the layers until all ingredients are used, finishing with the mascarpone cream on top.
- 5
Chill the Dessert
Cover the dish with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 4 hours, preferably overnight.
- 6
Serve
Before serving, dust the top with cocoa powder. Slice and serve chilled, enjoying the layers of coffee and cream.
