Cooking Instructions

  1. 1

    Prepare the Mushrooms

Preheat your oven to 200°C (400°F). Clean the cremini and portobello mushrooms with a damp cloth to remove any dirt. Remove the stems from the portobello mushrooms and slice them into thick pieces if desired.

  2. 2

    Make Thyme Butter

In a small saucepan, melt the butter over low heat. Add the fresh thyme leaves and crushed garlic cloves. Stir for about 1-2 minutes until fragrant, then remove from heat.

  3. 3

    Combine and Season

In a large bowl, combine the cleaned mushrooms. Pour the thyme butter over the mushrooms and toss well to coat. Season with salt and black pepper to taste.

  4. 4

    Roast the Mushrooms

Spread the mushrooms in a single layer on a baking sheet. Roast in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until tender and golden brown, stirring halfway through.

  5. 5

    Serve

Remove from the oven and let cool for a few minutes. Serve warm as a side dish or as a topping for your favorite dish.
