Cooking Instructions
- 1
Prepare the Meatball Mixture
In a large mixing bowl, combine ground beef, ground lamb, chopped dill, grated Parmigiano, minced garlic, egg, bread crumbs, salt, and black pepper. Mix well until all ingredients are thoroughly combined.
- 2
Form the Meatballs
Using your hands, form the mixture into balls about 1 inch in diameter. Place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- 3
Cook the Meatballs
Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Once hot, add the meatballs in batches, cooking until browned on all sides, about 5-7 minutes.
- 4
Prepare the Tomato Sugo
In a separate saucepan, heat a can of crushed tomatoes over medium heat. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Simmer for about 10 minutes to develop flavors.
- 5
Combine and Serve
Once the meatballs are cooked, add them to the tomato sugo and let simmer for an additional 5 minutes. Serve hot with additional grated Parmigiano on top.
