Garlic-White Wine Butter Sauce

Method

Shrimp Preparation

  1. 1

    Prepare the Shrimp

In a shallow dish, combine flour, salt, and black pepper. In a separate dish, beat the eggs. In a third dish, place breadcrumbs.

  2. 2

    Bread the Shrimp

Coat each shrimp first in the flour mixture, then dip into the beaten eggs, and finally coat with breadcrumbs. Ensure each shrimp is evenly coated.

  3. 3

    Fry the Shrimp

In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat. Once hot, add the breaded shrimp in batches and fry until golden brown and cooked through, about 2-3 minutes per side. Drain on paper towels.

Garlic-White Wine Butter Sauce Preparation

  1. 4

    Make the Sauce

In a separate pan, melt the butter over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sauté until fragrant, about 1-2 minutes.

  2. 5

    Add Wine and Lemon

Pour in the white wine and lemon juice, stirring to combine. Let the sauce simmer for about 3-5 minutes until slightly reduced.

  3. 6

    Finish the Sauce

Stir in chopped parsley and lemon zest. Season with salt and black pepper to taste.

Plating

  1. 7

    Serve the Dish

On a serving plate, arrange the fried shrimp and drizzle generously with the garlic-white wine butter sauce. Garnish with additional parsley if desired.
