Preparation Steps
- 1
Prepare the Romaine Lettuce
Wash the romaine lettuce thoroughly under cold water. Dry it with a salad spinner or pat it dry with paper towels. Tear the lettuce into bite-sized pieces and place them in a large mixing bowl.
- 2
Grill the Chicken Breast
Preheat your grill to medium-high heat. Season the chicken breast with salt and pepper. Grill the chicken for about 6-7 minutes on each side or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (75°C). Once cooked, remove from the grill and let it rest for 5 minutes before slicing it into strips.
- 3
Combine Ingredients
Add the grilled chicken strips to the bowl of romaine lettuce. Pour the Caesar dressing over the salad and toss gently to combine, ensuring the lettuce and chicken are well coated with the dressing.
- 4
Add Croutons and Cheese
Sprinkle the herbed croutons and grated Parmesan cheese over the top of the salad. Add freshly ground black pepper to taste. Toss the salad lightly to distribute the croutons and cheese.
- 5
Serve
Divide the salad into serving bowls or plates. Serve immediately while the salad is fresh and the chicken is warm.
