In a bowl, combine olive oil, minced garlic, lemon juice, dried oregano, salt, and black pepper. Mix well.

Place the chicken breast in a ziplock bag or a shallow dish and pour the marinade over it. Seal the bag or cover the dish, and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes.

Cook the Chicken

Preheat a grill or skillet over medium-high heat. Remove the chicken from the marinade and cook for about 6-7 minutes per side, or until the internal temperature reaches 75°C (165°F).

Rest and Serve

Allow the chicken to rest for 5 minutes after cooking. Slice and serve with your choice of sides.
