Steak Preparation

    Prepare the Steak

    Take the Angus ribeye steak out of the refrigerator and let it sit at room temperature for about 30 minutes before cooking.

    Season the Steak

    Rub the steak with olive oil and season generously with salt, black pepper, and garlic powder on both sides.

    Charbroil the Steak

    Preheat your grill or charbroiler to high heat. Place the steak on the grill and cook for 4-5 minutes on each side for medium-rare, or until desired doneness.

    Rest the Steak

    Remove the steak from the grill and let it rest for 5 minutes before slicing.

Salad Preparation

    Prepare the Salad

    While the steak is resting, combine lettuce, diced tomato, and sliced cucumber in a bowl. Toss with your favorite dressing.

    Prepare Sides

    Bake the potato in the oven or microwave until tender. Optionally, fry the french fries according to package instructions.

Serving

    Plate the Meal

    Serve the sliced steak alongside the salad, baked potato or french fries, and your choice of a flour tortilla or dinner roll.
