Bottled Water

Method

Bottled Water

1

Prepare bottle

Select a clean, food-grade bottle (glass or BPA-free plastic) sized to hold approximately 1 liter. Rinse the bottle and cap with hot water and let them air-dry or wipe with a clean towel.

2

Fill with filtered water

Using filtered still water, pour 1 liter into the prepared bottle. Leave a small air gap (about 1–2 inches / 2–5 cm) at the top to allow for expansion if cooled or shaken.

3

Optional: chill and garnish

If you prefer chilled water, add up to 6 ice cubes to the bottle or place the sealed bottle in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes. For a light flavor, drop in 1 lemon slice and 1 mint leaf before sealing the bottle; these are optional and will impart a subtle aroma without making the water cloudy.

4

Seal and store

Secure the cap tightly. Store bottled water in a cool, dark place away from direct sunlight and strong odors. If refrigerated, consume within 48 hours for best taste; if stored at room temperature, consume within 24 hours after opening.

5

Serve

When ready to drink, open the bottle and pour into a glass or drink directly. If ice was added, be mindful of dilution over time. Discard any leftover flavored water after 24 hours to maintain freshness.
